Melady has gone the entire way up to the railway station without footwear on the promenade; When they come to the car, she remarks very first how dirty her feet have got through this; Of course this which Melady shall drive with dirty feet in the car cannot be; Therefore it orders Richie to kneel down against his will and to slurp the dirty feet for it cleanly in front of everybody.
